Dolly Parton was born on the 19th January, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. She grew up alongside 12 other kids. Her vivid imagination helped her escape from life's harsh reality. life. Her songs were written before she learned to read or write. Within 8 years she had her very first guitar. At age 11 when she was 11, she began singing on Knoxville Tenn's radio station. Gold Band Records is a small, independent label. In high school she established herself in the local community, however her ambition was bigger. On the very day she graduated from the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde was her first album to be charted at the top of Monument Records. The syndicated television show of Porter Wagoner required a new singer at around the time. Parton was a part of the Grand Ole Opry 1969 after signing to RCA Records. In 1974, she quit Wagoner's show due to the commercial success of her solo songs like Joshua Coats Of Many Colors or Jolene was outstripping their joint releases. The song by Parton, I Will Never Love You (for Wagoner), reached the No. number 1 position after the duo broke up. 1 for the first time since 1974.
