Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, her fame was boosted when she joined the team of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. The actress took her initial success into big screen roles in movies like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Around this same time, she also starred in box-office failures including Rise: Blood Hunter. In later years, she worked as voice actor in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's part as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen film, failed to bring about the results. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring performance helped Liu to reestablish herself the status of an established actress. Liu picks her roles wisely so that she doesn't become a typecast character in such a competitive field. Though she's very proud of her ethnicity however, she is not letting it limit her imagination.
